About the Client
Our client is a UK-based group of companies specialising in the import and distribution of professional automotive refinishing products, operating since 2008. They support a network of approximately 100 active trade distributor accounts across the UK and sell through multiple online channels, including Amazon UK, eBay UK, and their own branded webstore.
As their e-commerce operations continue to expand, they are focused on strengthening their online presence, optimising marketplace performance, and driving sustainable sales growth across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Listing Optimisation
Own and manage all product listings across Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, and the company webstore — including pricing, variations, images, titles, and descriptions
Write compelling, SEO-optimised product content that improves search visibility and drives conversion
Continuously optimise listings based on performance data, platform algorithm changes, and competitor activity
Identify opportunities to expand the product portfolio in line with customer demand and market trends
Plan and execute promotional campaigns, deals, and sponsored activity to maximise revenue
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Track and report weekly on core KPIs: revenue, units sold, conversion rate, traffic, returns, and bestsellers
Conduct trend analysis to forecast demand and identify fast-moving or underperforming SKUs
Monitor competitor listings, pricing strategies, and market shifts to keep the catalogue competitive
Use data to make informed recommendations on pricing, bundling, and stock prioritisation
Deliver clear, actionable insight reports to the Operations Director on a regular basis
Inventory & Fulfilment Coordination
Maintain accurate, real-time stock levels across all platforms using BaseLinker and OrderWise
Reconcile stock discrepancies between the ERP system and marketplace listings promptly
Coordinate stock replenishment with the warehouse and procurement team to prevent stockouts and overselling
Support the warehouse pick/pack and courier booking process for online orders where required
Manage marketplace performance alerts, late shipment flags, and fulfilment-related issues
Customer Experience & Supplier Liaison
Ensure all online customers receive an excellent experience by responding to messages, reviews, and escalations promptly and professionally
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on product data accuracy, imagery, and new product onboarding
Maintain up-to-date product information across all platforms in line with supplier specifications
Marketing & Brand Support
Support the online marketing strategy by ensuring listings align with promotional campaigns and brand standards
Assist in the creation or coordination of product imagery and digital content where required
Maintain awareness of platform advertising tools (e.g. Amazon PPC / Sponsored Products) and apply them to drive traffic
About You
You are a proactive, commercially minded e-commerce professional who takes ownership of results. You are confident working autonomously, comfortable with data, and able to communicate clearly across time zones with a UK-based team.

Excellent written English with the ability to write clear, engaging, and accurate product content
Highly organised, self-directed, and reliable when working remotely without day-to-day supervision
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Comfortable using or learning AI and LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to enhance productivity
