The Brandon School District is a mid-size school district nestled in Northwest Oakland County. The district has approximately 1000 students from preschool through 5th grade between the two elementary schools, approximately 500 students at the middle school level and approximately 600 at the high school. Brandon is also home to the Summit Virtual School. This small, tight-knit community has a strong connection to its schools and is passionate about the education of its youth. Brandon High School sends 80-85% of its graduates to post-secondary schools each year, it was ranked in the 82nd percentile of all schools in the State on the most recent top-to-bottom rankings and it was awarded as a Silver Medal Winner by the US News.
