About the Role

Concordia Dining Services is hiring part-time team members to support our dining operations in a variety of roles and schedules. This posting serves as a general applicant pool for individuals interested in part-time opportunities with Dining Services. Depending on your interests, experience, availability, and current staffing needs, opportunities may include supporting food service, dishwashing and sanitation, food preparation, restocking, customer service, or other dining operations. We'll work with qualified applicants to identify opportunities that align with both their interests and our current needs.

What You'll Do

  • Support meal service and day-to-day Dining Services operations.
  • Help prepare, serve, replenish, or organize food and beverage items as assigned.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming serving, dining, kitchen, and dishwashing areas.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Provide friendly and helpful service to students, employees, and guests.
  • Work collaboratively with Dining Services staff and student employees.
  • Assist with other responsibilities based on your assigned role and the needs of the department.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Ability to meet the scheduling and attendance requirements of the assigned position.
  2. Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  3. Ability to perform the essential functions of the assigned position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous food service, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience.
  2. Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  3. Experience with food preparation, service, dishwashing, sanitation, or other dining operations.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Ability to stay organized and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist with a variety of Dining Services responsibilities.
  • Ability to interact respectfully with a diverse campus community.

  • Salary – 15.00 - 18.85 USD Hourly Wage

The final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, and alignment with the position's requirements. Other considerations may include internal equity and market conditions.
