Schedule: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Evening Shift)

Join Oak Harbor Freight Lines, a family-owned transportation company with over 110 years of service throughout the Western United States. We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Check-In/Check-Out Clerk to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong computer and communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect required bills of lading and delivery receipts from drivers.
• Scan and enter shipment information from bills and delivery receipts into the company's database.
• Identify and report overages, shortages, and damaged freight notations to the Operations Department.
• Work closely with drivers, dispatch, and operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of paperwork.
• Research shipment information to answer questions and help resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform general office duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• No previous experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to handle challenging customer situations and resolve issues professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• AS400 experience preferred but not required.
