We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA 19132 at the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic (BHUCC) walk-in clinic.
This role is part-time, every other weekend Saturday-Sunday 10:30a - 7:00p.
Earn $28.39/hr.!
The Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic (BHUCC) is a walk-in clinic for adults needing non-crisis same-day care in North Philadelphia. Consider it “urgent care” for individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral health concerns. Individuals will participate in resolution-focused services and aftercare planning to prepare for long-term recovery and connection to ongoing care. We serve individuals regardless of income or insurance status. Our services do not replace the need for ongoing mental health care; rather, we aim to reduce avoidable visits to crisis centers and emergency rooms by helping people get the mental health care they need when they need it.
Position Details
The CMA provides cross-clinic support that includes assisting with: intake processes, medical screenings, medication administration and medical case management. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary BHUCC team to ensure strong continuity of care and work to create and maintain a supportive and empathetic environment for individuals and help them access the care they need.
