Part-Time Cashier

Our Cashiers play an important role in creating a positive customer experience while helping keep our dealership operations organized and running smoothly.

We're looking for a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier to join our dealership team. In this role, you'll assist customers, process payments, answer phones, and provide administrative support to our Service, Parts, Sales, and Accounting departments. This position may also have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as an Inventory Control Assistant, providing flexibility and the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities within the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Process customer payments, balance the cash drawer, and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and assist customers with general questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier and reception area.
• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and administrative support for the Service, Parts, Sales, and Accounting departments.
• Assist with vehicle and dealership inventory control, including inventory tracking, audits, lot checks, and maintaining accurate records.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies and help ensure vehicle information remains accurate and up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the dealership's daily operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous cashier, customer service, administrative, or dealership experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle cash and financial transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using computers and basic office technology.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to work both at the front counter and in an active dealership environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
