Job Description

Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Carriage Attendant
Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.25-$17.50 depending on qualifications and experience
Must be at least 18 years and older

The Carriage Attendant collects shopping carriages from the parking lot and returns them to the front of the store.

Your day-to-day:

• Walk the parking lot to collect shopping carriages using… only loading the maximum number of carriages
• Being vigilant of moving cars and customers while proceeding through the parking lot
• Ensure carriages are free of trash
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned
