Part-Time Caregiver – Orange County, CA

CareWorks Health Services is hiring Part-Time Caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care to clients throughout Orange County, CA.

If you enjoy helping others and are looking for a flexible part-time caregiving opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. Caregivers provide one-on-one support based on each client's individual needs and care plan.

Position Details

• Position: Part-Time Caregiver / Home Care Aide
• Location: Orange County, CA
• Pay: $18.75–$22.00 per hour, depending on the case
• Schedule: Part-time; flexible based on available client shifts and your availability
• Shifts: Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities
• Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit every Friday
• Care Setting: One-on-one, non-medical in-home care

Responsibilities

Caregivers may assist clients with:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines
• Companionship and client engagement
• Grocery shopping and approved errands
• Accompanying clients to appointments and approved outings
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience
• Active HCA registration or willingness to obtain one
• Willingness to complete required Live Scan/background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Dependable and responsible
• Comfortable providing personal care and assisting with ADLs
• Good communication skills
• Compassionate and respectful approach to client care

1. Active California HCA registration or willingness to apply and complete Live Scan fingerprinting
2. Valid Driver's License or State ID
3. 2nd Form of ID (Passport or Social Security Card)
4. Current TB clearance or willingness to obtain it by the required deadline
5. CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
6. Reliable transportation to client homes
7. Car Registration (if applicable)
8. Car Insurance (if applicable)
9. Smartphone for scheduling, communication and electronic visit verification
10. Professional references
11. Willingness to complete a post-offer drug screen (in office)
