FASTSIGNS #69909 is hiring for a Part-Time Business Support Specialist to join our team!

Are you a "maker" who loves working with your hands? Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for math and measurements? We are looking for a versatile, eager-to-learn Business Support Specialist to join our team 16-20 hours a week.

This is an entry-level "hybrid" role designed for someone who wants to learn every aspect of the sign industry—from the front office to the production floor and out into the field. Whether you are helping a customer at the counter or assembling a custom sign in the back, your goal is precision and quality.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Business Support Specialist Will:

• Support Production (60%): Assist Production Specialists and Graphic Designers in building signs. This includes weeding vinyl, laminating, and mounting graphics onto various substrates.
• Support the Front Office (25%): Provide excellent "first-touch" service for walk-ins and phone calls. You will take down accurate order details to support the Sales team.
• Support Field Operations (10%): Assist with basic sign installations, window graphic removals, and deliveries.
• Maintain the Shop (5%): Keep the center and production area clean, organized, and professional. This includes maintaining storage areas and cleaning equipment to ensure a safe, efficient workspace.
• Follow the Blueprint: Listen to instructions, follow established "best practices," and execute tasks methodically without trying to "reinvent the wheel."
• Maintain Quality: Use a "beginning-with-the-end-in-mind" approach to minimize waste and ensure every sign meets our high standards.
• Support Other Duties: Be a team player by assisting with other duties as assigned to help the center succeed.
  
  

Ideal Qualifications:

• The "Handy" Factor: Experience in crafting, DIY projects, construction, or assembly is a huge plus. You should be comfortable using tools, rulers, and light power equipment.
• Strong Geometric Sense: You are very comfortable with measurements (fractions/decimals), finding centers, aligning angles, and performing basic math conversions.
• Growth Mindset: You take every mistake as a learning opportunity and aren't afraid to ask questions to get it right the first time.
• Logical Thinker: You enjoy step-by-step procedures and a methodical work environment.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for 4+ hours, lift up to 40 lbs, and lean over waist-high tables for precise application work.
• Emotional Intelligence: A positive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to communicate clearly with both teammates and customers.
