Position Type: Part-time
Salary Range: $16.75 - $16.75 Hourly

Champaign Park District – Part-Time, Non-Exempt
PT2 position (hours not to exceed 19 hours per week on average)
About the Job:
Join the team at the historic Virginia Theatre! As part of the Box Office & Concessions Staff, you’ll be the face of our theatre—helping guests purchase tickets, answering event questions, and serving concessions. This role is all about providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for every patron who walks through our doors.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with ticket sales, will-call pickup, and seating inquiries
- Process transactions accurately by phone, online, and in person
- Provide up-to-date event, pricing, and seating information
- Operate concessions, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor inventory and restock concession supplies as needed
- Troubleshoot ticketing issues and support improvements
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold Park District policies
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior customer service required.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and process transations.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to learn ticketing and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with the public and as part of the team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Qualifications
