
As a Bellman at Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel, you serve as one of the first and last points of contact for our guest, helping create exceptional experiences throughout their stay. This high visible role is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, providing information about the hotel and local area and ensuring public space remain clean, inviting and guest ready. Successful candidates are friendly, energetic, service orientated professionals who take pride in anticipating guest needs and delivering genuine hospitality that reflects the high standards of the Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel.
Greeting arriving and departing guests with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.
Assist guest with luggage, packages, and personal belongings during arrival, departure, and throughout their stay.
Escort guests to their rooms and provide information regarding the hotels' amenities, services, and property features, and local attractions.
Transport luggage safely and efficiently using proper handling procedures and hotel equipment.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the lobby, entrance areas, guest pathways, and other public spaces.
Monitor, replenish, and maintain coffee stations, beverage station, and guest refreshment areas.
Assist guest with directions, transportation arrangements, restaurant recommendations, and general hotel inquires.
Coordinate Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service.
Receive, store and retrieve guest luggage following established security and tracking procedures.
Deliver guest items, packages, amenities, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Follow Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel safety, security, and guest service standards.
Maintain a positive and professional appearance in accordance with hotel grooming and uniform guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Previous hospitality, customer service, bellman, valet, or guest service experience is preferred.
Strong commitment to providing outstanding guest service and creating memorable guest experiences.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional demeanor with the ability to interact courteously with guests, coworkers, and vendors.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and equipment weighting up to 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Dependable, punctual and capable of working mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require.
Knowledge of the local area, attractions, restaurants, and transportation service is a plus.
Must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine desire to exceed gust expectations.
Frequently lift and transport luggage weighting up to 50 pounds
Remain on feet for extended periods while walking throughout the hotel grounds.
Push and maneuver loaded luggage carts safely
Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.
This position may require working weekends, holidays, or variable shifts based on business needs.

As one of the starting directors of the company, James Woo brings fourteen years of hospitality industry experience to WS Management. He began his hospitality career as the General Manager of a select-service hotel. He transitioned to acquisitions and eventually to hotel property development and founded WS Management in 2013.
Sean Woo - Chief Financial Officer
CFO Sean is a founding member of WS Management and is responsible for the company’s financial, accounting and risk management activities. Sean also actively participates in the company’s long-term strategies through identifying, negotiating and financing real estate acquisitions.
Janet Fioriti - Vice President
Janet is responsible for the operating performance, asset preservation, quality and service excellence, revenue management and top-line sales performance for each asset in the portfolio. She is keenly focused on building a culture of entrepreneurial spirit, outrageous hospitality and employee engagement and care.
