Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for children of all ages with local families throughout Wayzata. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding part-time babysitting position with evening and weekend hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.
Pay: $16.50-$18.00/hour

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow
• Evenings and weekends
• Most shifts occur between 4:00pm-12:00am
• Work at least 2 shifts per week
• Work with vetted local families
• Have at least 2 years of childcare experience
• Love working with children of all ages
• Are dependable and professional
• Communicate well with parents and children
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Can provide references (At least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character)
• Are least 17.5 years old
Good to know: Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.

Do I need previous nanny experience?
No. We welcome experience from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, and other childcare settings.
Will I work with one family or multiple families?
Assignments vary based on family needs, your availability, and scheduling preferences.
What ages will I care for?
The assignments will vary in ages. It could be a range from infants all the way up to teens.

What happens after I apply?
Our recruiting team will review your information and schedule an interview. Next, we will conduct screening and reference checks; and send an offer to join the team if qualified.
