Meridian Health Services is currently seeking a part-time Assistant Social Worker to work weekends with our multidisciplinary inpatient psychiatric team located at River Bend Hospital, in West Lafayette, IN. The successful candidate effectively communicates (verbally and in writing) with clients, members of the treatment team, social service agencies, care providers, families, and others; utilizes available technology to communicate efficiently and provide for the protection and care of the individual; is able to use skills to de-escalate agitated persons; is able to understand and tolerate constructive criticism and accept input from many different team members.
