Part-Time AI E-commerce Designer

Part-Time | Remote | Independent Contractor

Our client is a growing e-commerce company looking for a creative and highly skilled AI-focused Designer to create compelling visual content for Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate is both a strong designer and highly fluent in AI-powered design tools. You will be responsible for creating engaging product images, Amazon listing graphics, lifestyle imagery, and other visual assets that help products stand out and drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual content for Amazon product listings and e-commerce platforms
• Design Amazon listing images, infographics, comparison charts, A+ Content and other promotional graphics
• Use AI tools to generate, enhance and manipulate product and lifestyle imagery
• Develop creative concepts and transform product information into compelling visual content
• Edit and retouch product images while maintaining a professional and consistent brand look
• Create lifestyle scenes and product environments using AI-generated imagery where appropriate
• Adapt designs for different products, marketplaces and campaigns
• Work from briefs and product information to develop creative concepts independently
• Ensure all designs are visually appealing, accurate and aligned with Amazon's requirements and best practices
• Manage multiple projects and products while meeting deadlines
• Stay up to date with the latest AI design tools, techniques and trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, E-commerce Designer, Amazon Designer or similar role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating e-commerce and/or Amazon design work
• Advanced experience using AI-powered design and image-generation tools
• Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, composition, typography and visual hierarchy
• Experience creating Amazon listing content and product imagery is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of what makes e-commerce content engaging and conversion-focused
• Experience with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma or similar
• Comfortable experimenting with new AI tools and incorporating them into the design workflow
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines
• Strong creative thinking and the ability to turn ideas into polished visual content

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a creative designer who is genuinely fluent in AI, not someone who simply uses AI occasionally. You should understand how to combine traditional design skills with AI tools to produce high-quality, commercially effective e-commerce content.

You will be comfortable taking a product concept or brief and turning it into professional visuals with minimal direction. A strong understanding of Amazon's visual environment and what drives customer attention and conversion will be a major advantage.
