The job is a member of the Ticket Sales Center (TSC) team within the Global Sales organization. This role is responsible for promoting and selling air transportation and travel-related services to customers while delivering a high standard of customer service. This position ensures accuracy in fare computations, ticket issuance, and reservation handling to drive revenue and support daily operations.

What you'll do

  • Promote and sell American Airlines, Oneworld and partner air travel services to customers

  • Accurately compute fares and interpret fare rules to address customer inquiries

  • Create and manage reservations using QIK Chk and AACoRN systems

  • Issue tickets for both new and returning customers

  • Provide information and respond to general travel-related inquiries

  • Reconcile auditors’ coupons with payments received and calculate total revenue

  • Monitor daily sales deposits and ensure compliance with audit requirements

  • Maintain ticket stock, manage office supply inventory, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams to support a positive work environment

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent education level

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales-focused role

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role within travel, tourism, or transportation

  • Experience within the airline industry

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

  • Strong sales and upselling abilities

  • Clear and professional communication

  • Effective customer issue resolution

  • Flexibility with shifts and schedules

  • Quick to learn airline systems and tools
