Cleaning Team Supervisor Required – 15 Hours per Week

Streetly, B74 3PH | Term Time

Recruiting now – position to commence when the new school term begins after the summer holidays.

We are looking for a reliable, professional and hands-on Cleaning Team Supervisor to join our team at a primary school in Streetly, B74 3PH

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team and taking pride in maintaining high standards. There’s no desk, no emails to take home, and no work following you home at the end of the day. You can come in, lead the team, get the job done and switch off.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 3:30pm – 6:30pm
• Term time only
• 15 hours per week
• Additional deep cleaning may be required during school holidays

Key Responsibilities

As Cleaning Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing the cleaning team on site, ensuring the school is cleaned to a consistently high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting on-site trials for new applicants
• Supporting new team members throughout their onboarding and training
• Ensuring the team completes all daily cleaning tasks to the required standard
• Carrying out regular checks to maintain quality and cleanliness
• Dealing with on-site queries and escalating issues to management where appropriate
• Supporting the team and providing guidance when required
• Leading by example and maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements

• Must be able to travel to Streetly, B74 3PH
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience would be advantageous
• COSHH knowledge preferred but not essential
• Must be reliable, organised and confident working with a small team
• At least one reference from a previous employer
• An Enhanced DBS check will be required – this will be arranged by us
