Looking for a part-time job that works around your school schedule?
The Goddard School of Charlestown is looking for energetic, dependable, and caring individuals to join its team as Part-Time Afternoon Classroom Support Teachers.
This is an excellent opportunity for high school and college students who enjoy working with children and want to gain hands-on experience in an early childhood education environment.
You’ll step in during the afternoon to provide additional classroom support, assist teachers, engage with children, and help the school finish each day strong!
Available Schedule
This is a part-time, Monday–Friday (M–F) position. Candidates must be available consistently during one of the following afternoon schedules:
$18–$20 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
This is a great opportunity for high school and college students looking for a consistent weekday schedule that works around school or class commitments.
As an Afternoon Classroom Support Teacher, you’ll work alongside classroom teachers and school leadership to help provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.
Responsibilities may include assisting with classroom supervision, engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play, supporting classroom transitions, helping with snacks and afternoon routines, assisting with classroom organization and cleanup, providing coverage where additional classroom support is needed, and helping prepare children and classrooms for end-of-day dismissal and closing.

We’re looking for candidates who are responsible, dependable, energetic, patient, positive, and genuinely enjoy interacting with children.
Previous childcare experience is a plus, but this position is also a great opportunity for students looking to gain experience.
High school and college students are encouraged to apply!
Candidates must meet all applicable age, background-check, and employment requirements for working in a licensed childcare setting.
