This temporary position is with NC DHHS - DCFW CDSA, located at 1065 Vinehaven Drive NE, Concord NC, Cabarrus County. 

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). 

This request is for a part-time (25 hours per week) temporary worker with the NC DHHS - Division of Child and Family Well-Being (DCFW), Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSA). The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our daily workflow and overall office productivity. The support provided by this position is essential, especially for our direct service staff, primarily service coordinators whose caseloads continue to grow due to increased referrals and enrollments. These rising demands require extensive general office support. The selected candidate for this role will:

* Perform general office duties such as faxing, filling, copying
* Assist with the finalization of evaluation reports for stakeholders such as the child's physician and providers
* Travel to satellite locations to assist staff where there is no daily support
* Assist in coordination of Management's ongoing activities and special projects around staff training and public awareness
* Assist with BEES related tasks, including uploading and integrating pertinent files for existing clients
* and other tasks as directed

  • Great organizational skills with the ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information
  • Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions
  • Pleasant demeanor with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively both verbally or in written form

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
