Part-Time Academic Success Coach

Flexible Schedule | No Lesson Planning or Outside Work | One-to-One Instruction

Looking for a flexible, part-time role where you can support students without the demands of lesson planning or grading? At Brightmont Academy, that’s exactly what we do. Since 1999, we’ve helped students in grades 1–12 achieve their full potential through personalized one-to-one instruction. With 25 campuses across 10 states, we create a nurturing, student-centered environment where meaningful learning happens every day.

As an Academic Success Coach in our Homework Studio, you’ll guide students during structured independent work time - helping them stay focused, complete assignments, and develop strong study habits.

About the Homework Studio

Homework Studio is a supervised, independent learning environment that complements one-to-one instruction. Students use this time to complete assignments, prepare for exams, and strengthen study and executive functioning skills in a quiet, structured setting.

What You’ll Do as an Academic Success Coach

• Supervise and support students during independent work time
• Keep students focused, organized, and on task
• Provide guidance and answer questions as needed
• Reinforce study skills and time management habits
• Create a calm, positive, and productive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a student-first mindset
• Ability to motivate and engage students independently
• Comfort with Google Workspace and learning platforms
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
