Interdisciplinary Studies in Aquatic Resources Program, Faculty of Science

Position

The Aquatic Resources Program at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Part Time Academic Instructor to teach Aqua 221 (Issues in Resource Management) (3 credits) during the fall term of the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

We seek candidates with prior experience teaching the course. Qualified applicants will have an advanced degree in field or program related to the course - a PhD or ABD is preferred - and previous teaching experience. Preference will be given to individuals who have strong teaching and communication skills. The Program is also seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to the university’s priorities of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
