Explore your next role:

We are looking for a qualified individual to join the Part Sales team as a Part Sales Program Specialist The successful individual will be responsible for managing the customers on the EXCL program and the vendor management of the repair/overhaul cycle of the components as well as marketing the program to achieve set goals.

Program Management:

  • Use client base contacts to market Avparts and generate sales to meet monthly revenue targets.
  • Attend industry functions, conferences, trade shows to promote Voyageur’s suite of services with emphasis
  • on the EXCL program offering.
  • Make in person sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis and conduct program reviews.
  • Develop an effective and productive working relationship with Inside Sales group to process orders and customer product requirements.
  • Work with the Avparts team to identify and forecast component needs based on usage and new customers.
  • Generate reports and updates to management.
  • Manage the day-to-day customer relationship and program.
  • Manage the relationship with the supplier(s) for cost management and service level commitments to customers.
  • Review all estimates for CID and other over and above charges for pass through and dispute resolution.
  • Provide technical support to Sales team and Supply management.
  • Attend TSC meetings and provide feedback to enhance our offerings and take advantage of preferential commercial concessions being provided by the OEMs and vendors.

Processing Repairs

  • Generate Repair Order(s) to in house shops as well as outside vendors for any unserviceable parts.
  • Generate a line of communication within house shops & vendors to identify what is required.
  • Help with the receiving process of part(s) that may have been returned that have any kind of discrepancy.
  • Liaise with MATCON department to ensure that the repair orders created, and the associated part(s) will be shipping to the vendor on the requested day.
  • Scan all necessary documentation to repair order.

New Business Development

  • Liaise with Voyageur part sates team and Chorus subsidiaries on common opportunities for inventory purchases or other Avparts’ opportunities.
  • Prospect for potential new clients to grow EXCL business and additional addons (i.e., LE program).
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging contact network.
  • Identify potential new clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients and maintain existing customer base and relationships.
  • Plan approaches and pitches, to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Manage customer complaints by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Maintain knowledge of market and industry trends to identify prospects and opportunities.
  • Liaise with corporate marketing in support of leveraging brand awareness and lead creation

Purchasing:

  • Obtain quote(s) for each aeronautical product(s) requested.
  • Ensure best market price and availability for resale.
  • Create & email Purchase Order(s) to vendor(s) and ensure vendor(s) meets the committed date, which may be required for customer needs (i.e., AOG requirement).
  • Follow up with vendors on problem/potential problem parts to ensure delivery time to meet the customer requirements.
  • Scan all necessary documentation to purchase order.
  • Help with the receiving process of part(s) that have been procured that have any kind of discrepancy.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in customer support or equivalent aviation part sales work experience.
  • 5 Years in an Aftermarket component support role and 10 Years in Aviation Industry.
  • Proven communication and networking skills.
  • Technical understanding of aircrafts and aircraft parts.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Tender preparation to the industry standard.
  • Customer service experience considered an asset.
  • Fulfil travel requirements: 5% of the time.

You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
