We’re looking for a dependable Parks Crew Lead who can talk turf management like a pro, keep our irrigation systems humming, and lead a crew without losing their sense of humor. If you’ve got at least three years of solid grounds maintenance experience and a knack for keeping both the grass and your team in line, you’re exactly who we need. You'll just need a solid driving record, a strong work ethic, and the ability to laugh off a sudden downpour. The hiring rate for this role is $28.28 - $35.35 per hour.

The Aurora Parks Operations and Division Crew Leader is an integral member of the team responsible for maintenance in our Parks throughout the city. This role acts as a crew leader and completes work as part of a crew engaged in the maintenance and repair of Parks.

The city of Aurora will implement furlough days (unpaid days off) for most employees in 2026. The scheduled furlough dates are January 16, April 10, July 2, and December 24.
