Responsibilities

Role: Customer Service Representative

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Pay Rate $16.00/hr

Customer Service and Employee Support

  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and by monitoring the parking operations email inbox.

  • Respond to employee parking inquiries in a timely manner, handling requests related to new access, assignments, vehicle updates, and replacement credentials.

  • Handle general inquiries, route calls efficiently, and escalate complex issues to the Operations Officer when necessary.

Administration and Records Management

  • Perform administrative tasks such as high-volume filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.

  • Process parking applications, manage waiting lists, and maintain accurate records of parking occupancy, vehicle updates, and employee information.

  • Create and maintain accurate documents and spreadsheets using MS Word and Excel to support reporting requirements and track monthly parking requests.

Operational Coordination and Compliance

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing packages.

  • Coordinate with parking attendants and parking operator supervisors to report operational issues affecting customer experience.

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with parking policies, maintain records of policy infractions, and support special projects or temporary parking assignments.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education Required High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Experience Required Previous experience in a similar role is required.

Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to make change.

Language Skills Ability to read, write and interpret the English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Adaptability Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.

Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to use clock (standard/military time), calculator (optional) or credit card machine to handle transactions. Ability to maintain a pleasant and mannerly demeanor when speaking on the telephone and with the public. Ability to effectively respond to customer problems or complaints. Must be proactive with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
