The Opportunity

This is more than enforcement, it’s about education, engagement and building positive connections with our community while upholding the Road Safety Road Rules with professionalism and confidence.
Equipped with industry-leading Pinforce software and supported by a progressive, high-performing team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering responsive, transparent and modern parking control. Operating across a seven-day roster, generally between 7:30am and 10:00pm, this exciting frontline opportunity offers variety, visibility, career growth and the chance to truly make your mark at Moonee Valley City Council.
Key Responsibilities
Skills & Experience
Successful candidates will hold a Certificate IV in Government (or be willing to undertake this qualification) and demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation including the Road Safety Act, Regulations, and Local Laws. You will bring sound knowledge of Victorian Road Rules, experience working with the public in potentially challenging environments, and well-developed dispute resolution skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to exercise independent judgement within established guidelines. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and hand-held technology for issuing infringements and updating records, and capable of managing competing priorities within set timeframes.
