About the Role

Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards is seeking a reliable, guest-focused Parking Attendant to join our team.

This role is about more than directing traffic. As one of the first and last team members our guests interact with, you play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience from arrival through departure.

You will help manage parking operations, assist guests with questions, coordinate with transportation providers, and support the overall flow of service during weddings, events, and busy tasting room weekends.

This is an active, outdoor position that requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude upon arrival
• Direct vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the property
• Manage parking areas to maximize capacity and maintain smooth traffic flow
• Assist guests with directions and basic property information
• Coordinate with transportation companies, event teams, and tasting room staff
• Help create organized arrivals and departures during high-volume periods
• Monitor parking areas for safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Serve as a positive ambassador for the Pippin Hill guest experience

Schedule

• Part-time position
• Weekend availability required (Friday–Sunday)
• Schedule will vary based on business needs, weddings, and special events
• Additional weekday shifts may be available during peak seasons and events

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and varying weather conditions
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, drivers, and team members
• Ability to safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic
• Ability to navigate uneven outdoor terrain
