Parking Attendant

Parking Attendant - Fixed Term Part-Time

Wellington International Airport

We are looking for a Part-Time Parking Attendant to join our team at Wellington Airport.

Hours: Fixed Term Part Time (15 hours per week)

Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 1:00pm - 9:00pm

Pay Rate: $24.42 per hour

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Excellent customer service skills and experience
• Strong communication skills
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
• The ability to work independently
• A full New Zealand driver's licence
• Basic computer skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pick-up and drop-off areas to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with parking enquiries
• Monitor and respond to unattended or illegally parked vehicles
• Conduct routine inspections of car park and forecourt areas
• Monitor taxi and app-based transport operations for compliance with airport policies
• Assist with trolley collection and relocation as required
• Report safety, security, maintenance, and operational issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all parking areas
• Support airport operations and traffic management during peak periods and special events
