Job Description

Parking Attendant
The Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center Guest Services Representative is the initial interaction our guests have at our facilities, and as such must provide excellent customer service and exceed our guests' expectations. The Parking Attendants are responsible for Providing parking instructions/guidance/assistance to guest as they arrive.

Essential Functions:

Provided parking instructions/guidance/assistance to guest as they arrive* Allow or disallow access into lots* Provide guest with directions and other venue information* Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt and friendly manner * Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized * Direct motorist to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary* Patrol parking areas in order to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle property thefts* Calculate parking charges, and collect fees from customers * Lift, position, and remove barricades in order to open or close parking areas* Escort customers as needed to their vehicle on order to ensure their safety

Required Qualifications:
Training will be provided. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
This position may require lifting of approximately 25 to50 pounds, climbing, carrying, bending, stooping, and kneeling. This position is routinely required to work outdoors and is exposed to the elements heat, rain, etc... Noise level for this position is moderate.
Activities occur both inside and outside the Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center; some seasonal heat. Ability to work flexible hours in addition to normal business hours as dictated by events.
Must be proactive in providing assistance. Must be able to work in a team environment and interact with multiple departments.
