ABOUT US

Hampshire Essentials is one of Australia's fastest-growing accommodation and lifestyle businesses, operating a diverse portfolio of holiday parks, rental villages and lifestyle communities across the country. As part of Hampshire Property Group, we provide quality accommodation solutions for holidaymakers, corporate travellers, workers, renters and long-term residents.

Tamworth Holiday Park, located in the heart of New England, offers a relaxed and convenient base for guests visiting Australia's country music capital. The park provides easy access to Tamworth's shops, events, attractions and the surrounding regional countryside.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated leader who can take ownership of both parks, lead their teams and identify opportunities to continually improve the guest experience and performance of the business.

We are currently seeking a Full Time, Park Manager to join our team, overseeing Tamworth Holiday Park.

WHY JOIN US?

  • Competitive salary package including live-on-site accommodation, with utilities included
  • Join a fast-growing national accommodation business with a strong focus on growth and continuous improvement
  • Genuine career development opportunities for ambitious leaders looking to grow with the business
  • A unique lifestyle role combining hospitality, commercial management, team leadership and hands-on park operations

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Park Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Tamworth Holiday Park.

This is a full-time, live-on-site position requiring strong leadership, operational oversight and commercial awareness, together with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences across both locations.

You'll be responsible for ensuring both parks operate safely and efficiently, leading and supporting their teams, maintaining consistently high presentation and service standards, and identifying opportunities to improve occupancy, revenue and overall business performance.

The role includes on-call responsibilities and regular weekend and public holiday work, reflecting the nature of the tourism and hospitality industry.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of both parks, ensuring high standards across accommodation, amenities, grounds and guest services.
  • Lead, support and motivate teams across both locations, creating a positive, accountable and customer-focused working environment.
  • Ensure consistent operational, presentation and customer service standards are maintained across both parks.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, responding effectively to feedback and resolving issues when required.
  • Drive occupancy and revenue through strong operational performance, local market awareness and excellent customer service.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow corporate, workforce, extended-stay and leisure accommodation across both properties.
  • Build positive relationships with local businesses, tourism operators, community organisations and industry partners throughout the Tamworth region.
  • Manage park budgets, financial performance, reporting and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and overall business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, relevant regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of park presentation, including oversight of grounds, maintenance, amenities and accommodation.
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers and maintenance requirements as needed.
  • Manage reservations, occupancy and park systems to support efficient operations and maximise available inventory.
  • Respond to guest needs and operational matters, including after-hours and on-call situations when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Hampshire Essentials team and contribute to business initiatives and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in holiday park, accommodation, hospitality or similar operational management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to effectively lead and support teams across multiple locations.
  • A genuine guest-first mindset and commitment to delivering consistently high service standards.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across two parks.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to understand budgets, revenue, occupancy and operational performance.
  • Experience identifying opportunities to grow revenue and improve business performance.
  • Confidence using RMS or other property management/reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with guests, employees, local businesses and the wider community.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support the team wherever required.
  • Flexibility to work across a seven-day operation, including weekends and public holidays, and participate in on-call requirements.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • A current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check and First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience developing local partnerships, corporate accommodation relationships or business development initiatives will be highly regarded.

If you're looking for more than just a management role and want the opportunity to take ownership of two parks, lead great teams and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business, we'd love to hear from you.

This role offers the opportunity to join a growing national organisation while making a genuine impact across two established properties. For the right candidate, it presents a strong pathway to build a long-term career within Hampshire Essentials and the broader Hampshire Property Group.
