Job Description

The Parcel Analyst position will be responsible for providing analytical and administrative support for Ship-to-Home Parcel initiatives. The Analyst will support parcel performance reporting, carrier and store operations, forecasting, and peak period preparation.

An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. The Analyst will assist with the development of operational and financial reporting, and recurring parcel performance metrics. Additionally, the Analyst will work closely with internal teams and parcel carriers to gather data, research operational issues, and provide analysis that supports informed and effective business decisions.

Essential Functions

• Analyze Ship-to-Home parcel data and trends to identify operational and cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor and report key parcel KPIs, including volume, carrier performance, service levels, and transportation expense.
• Prepare and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations.
• Support budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis for parcel operations.
• Assist with parcel volume forecasting and carrier capacity planning.
• Partner with Store Operations, carriers, and cross-functional teams to support Ship-to-Home initiatives and peak planning.
• Research shipment exceptions and coordinate resolution of pickup, scanning, and delivery issues.
• Manage parcel claims, recovery reporting, and supporting shipment documentation.
• Maintain parcel accounts, carrier contacts, operational records, and departmental trackers.
• Reconcile parcel data, validate reporting accuracy, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Requires designated hybrid in-office work schedule.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, MIS, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2 to 3 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Fulfillment Operations, Retail Operations, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working with data, reporting, or administrative processes preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to organize and analyze data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate reports and records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Store Operations, internal business partners, and external parcel carriers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with reporting or visualization tools is a plus but not required.
