The purpose of this position is to oversee and coordinate Greenville Area Transit paratransit service operations. This is accomplished by interpreting and applying standard policies, procedures, and rules. This position validates and schedules daily rides for customers to provide efficient and safe service. The Paratransit Operations Supervisor supervises paratransit operators, including recruiting and training new employees, approving timesheets, performing evaluations, and providing discipline as necessary and is responsible for all required reporting to include ridership and various operating statistics. This position also functions as a relief driver and dispatcher as necessary. Standard working hours include working nights, weekends, and some holidays.
