Job Description


Playing a central role within an established CAT1 and CAT2 wealth management firm, this newly created position is designed to support a dedicated team of private client portfolio and wealth managers. By taking ownership of critical preparation, compliance, and onboarding processes, the role frees up the advisory team to focus on strategic client outcomes. The organisation, established in 2003, operates successfully across two entities, including an international footprint.


Working a full-time hybrid schedule from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, this permanent role offers a balanced working arrangement with 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. It provides a distinct opportunity to grow and develop within a highly professional financial services environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the comprehensive onboarding process for new clients.


  • Prepare detailed financial proposals and annual review documentation for client meetings.


  • Compile and prepare accurate FSCA submissions.


  • Act as a reliable point of contact, engaging professionally with clients both in person and telephonically.


  • Conduct financial research and product analysis to support advisory outcomes.


  • Liaise with external product providers to gather necessary client portfolio information.


  • Ensure all client files and compliance documentation are accurately maintained.


Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years of paraplanning experience within the wealth management industry.


  • Completed relevant NQF Level 6 qualification related to paraplanning.


  • FSCA recognised qualifications, specifically REP1 and 3.


  • Fluency in Afrikaans (spoken and written).


  • Demonstrated familiarity with financial services products, specifically platforms such as Sanlam and Allan Gray.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for direct client engagement.


Required Software Skills


  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
