A growing law firm in Alpharetta is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and enjoys owning cases from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers’ compensation defense files from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and settlement documents
• Coordinate IMEs, medical records, vocational evaluations, and case-related documentation
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Prepare hearing and mediation materials, including exhibits and case files
• Handle e-filing and maintain calendars, deadlines, and case updates

Qualifications

• 2+ years of workers’ compensation defense and/or insurance defense experience
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
