A rare opportunity is available for an experienced Paralegal ready to join our Agriculture team. This full-time position is available in Brisbane or Toowoomba.

Skills and competencies:

• Must have experience in property conveyancing file management.
• Demonstrated experience in a highly focused client service environment.
• JP Qualifications would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Exposure to rural property and business structures would be advantageous.
• A passion to act for farmers, graziers and agricultural businesses.
• Dedication to providing excellence in client service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing deadlines.

As part of our team you will:

• Perform all paralegal administrative tasks.
• Liaise with clients over the telephone.
• Arrange appointments and conferences with clients and Counsel.
• Reply to invitations to Partner to attend meetings, presentations, seminars, etc.
• Arrange advertising, travel and accommodation for western trips.
• Organise annual mail out flyer to western clients.
• Undertake A – Z conveyancing:
• drafting and engrossing searches
• engrossing/amending precedent letters and documents as necessary
• preparation of own letters as required
• calculation and preparation of settlement figures
• arranging settlements and for clerks to attend stamps, titles office and other government departments as required.
• Any other duties as required.
