Organization:
SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyResponsible for planning, executing and overseeing a variety of corporate and legal projects as an integral member the Real Estate Legal team within Legal & Risk Services. Provides infrastructure and support by proactively assisting internal and external counsel and executive management in specific areas of responsibility. Collaborates with team members related to changes in federal and state laws and the organization's policies and procedures. Although subject to oversight by an attorney, the incumbent works very independently — providing knowledge and consultation to management relating to corporate and transactional documents, policy review, legal research, subpoena response review, legislation tracking; and drafts, reviews and/or proofreads complex contracts and other documents. The incumbent thinks strategically, manage multiple projects, leads by example and builds relationships across the organization to encourage a collaborative work environment.
The candidate selected for this role will come on site a minimum of two days a week for work and must live within a commutable distance to either the River Plaza location in Sacramento, or Powell Street in Emeryville. This is not a remote, work from home role.

Pay Range is $41.45 to $62.18 / hour. Emeryville Pay Range is $47.67 to $71.51 / hour.
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
