What You Will Do
- Draft and review legal documents related to intellectual property matters.
- Conduct thorough research to support legal claims and strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Manage and organize case files and documentation for efficient accessibility.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and timelines.
- Maintain and update databases and tracking systems for intellectual property assets.
- Communicate with clients and external parties regarding case progress and requirements.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in intellectual property law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing legal documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with patent and trademark filings.
- Familiarity with legal research databases and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
