Paralegal – Civil Litigation

Location: Savannah, GA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office

JWL International is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in active civil litigation matters in our Savannah, GA office. This role is fully in-office and requires hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, and litigation case management.

We are looking for a world-class professional who is committed to working on-site five days a week and delivering strong litigation support in a fast-paced legal environment.

Compensation: $50,000 – $75,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in state and federal courts
• Manage and respond to discovery requests, including drafting responses and coordinating document production
• Maintain and track case deadlines, filings, and court requirements to ensure timely compliance
• Prepare materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial
• Organize and maintain case files, both digital and physical, for active litigation matters
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel on case-related matters
• Assist with e-filing and ensure proper formatting and submission of legal documents
• Support attorneys with day-to-day litigation workflow and case management
• Handle confidential legal documents and sensitive information with discretion
• Assist with billing support, document management, and general office coordination as needed
• Assist attorneys with drafting and responding to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a law firm environment
• Hands-on experience with:
  • pleadings
  • discovery
  • e-filing
  • litigation case management
• Experience in civil litigation or personal injury strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with court e-filing systems (state and federal preferred)
• Must be based in or near Savannah, GA and able to work on-site

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $50,000 – $75,000 (depending on experience)
