Greenfield is looking for a Paralegal to join our growing legal team.
This is a temporary 6-month opportunity with the potential for extension based on business needs and role requirements. We are committed to providing transparency throughout the employment experience and will provide a minimum of 30 days' notice should the assignment conclude after 6 months as planned or if a change in circumstances allows for the term to be extended on an agreed basis.
Supporting the company’s Legal team and the broader business, the Paralegal will provide practical, responsive legal assistance across corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This role is primarily remote, with periodic in office attendance and visits to other company facilities as required.

Who You Are:
You are an experienced, highly organized legal professional who thrives in an in-house environment. You bring sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and legal counsel. You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset.
Your Experience Should Include:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a major law firm or in-house legal department
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal-based accreditation (Ontario or Quebec preferred)
• Strong knowledge of corporate recordkeeping, governance, and commercial contracting principles
• Experience supporting regulatory and compliance matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, deadlines, and legal documentation independently
• Excellent written, organizational, and communication skills
• English–French bilingual proficiency, including translation capabilities (preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist legal counsel with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, and quality agreements
• Manage and maintain the company’s contract management system
• Support corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records, minute books, and preparing director and shareholder resolutions
• Assist with corporate and regulatory filings, including compliance reporting, privacy matters, lobbying, and industry-specific requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel on litigation matters, discovery responses, and investigations
• Support intellectual property filings and portfolio management, including trademarks and patents
• Prepare, maintain, and update standard form agreements, templates, and legal policies
• Track legal department deadlines, renewals, and recurring obligations
• Provide general administrative support to the Legal team, including bill payments and expense reporting
• Manage Board and Audit Committee meeting invitations and logistics
• Assist with English–French document translation
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
Total Compensation & Care:
• Annual base salary dependent on experience and demonstrated performance – $90,000 – $100,000, prorated over the duration of the term.
