Are you a Paralegal with a passion for social justice, employment law, trade unions, litigation and workers' rights? Join Thompsons Solicitors' specialist Trade Union Law Group (TULG) and work on some of the most significant legal cases affecting working people across the UK.

The opportunity...

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious Paralegal to support our expert Trade Union Law Group.

You'll work alongside leading trade union lawyers on a varied caseload including:

• Judicial Review proceedings
• High Court and appellate litigation
• Multi-claimant Employment Tribunal cases
• Large-scale group actions involving thousands of claimants
• Strategic litigation that helps shape employment and trade union law

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career and develop into a specialist trade union lawyer.

What we're looking for...

• A strong interest in trade union and employment law
• Knowledge of litigation procedures (desirable)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong IT and Microsoft Excel skills
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and external stakeholders
• Understanding of billing processes and compliance requirements
• Commitment to social justice and the trade union movement
• A Degree or equivalent is desirable, though not essential
