Specific Job Responsibilities:

· Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, and prioritize the work appropriately

· Communicate with the courts, clients, opposing counsel, county recording offices, publishers, process servers, and other vendors, as applicable.

· Manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients’ timelines and expectations

· Ensure all internal systems are updated, to include findings, documentation, and recommendations

· Draft and record legal documents under attorney supervision.

· Calendar and monitor applicable client, court, publication, recording, sale, redemption, bankruptcy, and post-sale deadlines.

· Assist attorneys in maintaining compliance with applicable local, state, and federal bankruptcy, foreclosure, and collections requirements. (as applicable)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Candidate should have at least one year of Law Firm experience handling foreclosures.

· Document preparation including but not limited to Notices of Sale and Deeds

· Experience operating in LoanSphere/BKFS/ICE or comparable mortgage-servicing, bankruptcy, or foreclosure case-management systems.

· Creative in problem-solving and takes initiative when issues arise, with ability to use good judgment or obtain direction or clarification where needed

· Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; Strong interpersonal skills

· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

· Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities

· Knowledge of Mortgage Foreclosure Law

· Familiarity with Minnesota residential-foreclosure procedures, including county recording practices, publication coordination, and post-sale/redemption tracking, preferred.

Required Education and Training:

· Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred

· Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred

· 1 year experience in handling foreclosures
