Job Description

The San Francisco, CA and Sacramento, CA offices of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, are seeking a paralegal with litigation experience to support our environmental/toxic tort team. This position will involve working for a minimum of four (4) attorneys compiling information for discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, case investigation, and trial preparation involving different types of matters including California wildfire litigation and Forever Chemical exposure cases.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate. A certificate may be required based on region, state, or client requirements.
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong Excel skills required, including data tracking, reporting and spreadsheet management
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
• This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
