About the role
Dentons Australia has a fantastic opportunity in our Sydney office for a Paralegal to join our growing Recovery and Restructuring practice on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role, you will be acting on behalf of several of Australia's major banks and non-bank lenders on secured and unsecured recovery matters. The work is of a fast-paced nature, which will see you having the responsibility of managing a portfolio of files. You will also work alongside lawyers in the team with an emphasis on compliance and quality assurance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be extremely well organised and have superior drafting skills and close attention to detail. In this role, you will handle a large workload and will be required to keep your workload up to date.
You will enjoy working in a friendly team environment under supportive partners, with on-the-job training to help you along the way. You will be self-motivated and driven, with a professional outlook and phone manner and the ability to work under pressure and deal with sensitive matters.
Prior law firm experience is not a pre-requisite although applicants with secured or unsecured recoveries experience will be favourably considered. Law students should only apply if they have 2 years (or more) left on their degree and if they can commit to a minimum of four working days per week.
