As a Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to help shape our success, becoming the #1 tech-enabled IP powerhouse. The role includes administrative and legal work in close collaboration with other Paralegals and Attorneys.
Including but not limited to:
Conducting legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations.
Preparing and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits with the appropriate authorities and local agents.
Preparing class descriptions and submitting trademark applications in collaboration with the company’s attorneys.
Organizing, maintaining, updating, and monitoring internal and external deadlines regarding clients’ intellectual property rights.
Participating in physical and virtual meetings with potential and existing clients.
Contributing to the development of work routines.
Preparing invoices and ensuring accuracy in billing.
In this role you are also expected to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients, as well as to ensure work tasks are carried out with great accuracy, high quality and according to good industry standards.
If you are an IP enthusiast with strong proficiency in legal research tools and databases as well as digital analytical skills you have the prerequisites for succeeding in this role. Attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines under pressure will make you thrive.
We believe that you have a high proficiency in word processing, data management, spreadsheet, and data analysis programs and the ability to improve operational processes.
