Paralegal

Our client, a well-established and respected law firm with over 15 years of experience, is expanding to Kingston, ON, and is seeking a Licensed Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a focus on client service and professional development.

Your New Role

In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service by conducting consultations with clients in person, over the phone, and via email. You will manage client files and appointments with accuracy and confidentiality while drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence. Additionally, you will liaise professionally with courts, agents, and colleagues, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities include managing disclosure requests, conducting legal research, and supporting administrative tasks such as reconciling daily sales and verifying agent invoices.

What You Will Need to Succeed

To succeed in this position, you must hold a valid P1 Paralegal License in good standing and bring at least two years of paralegal experience. Strong multitasking and time management skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication, are essential. Knowledge of the Provincial Offences Act, Highway Traffic Act, and Criminal Code of Canada is preferred but not mandatory.
