The Promoting Readiness, Empowerment and Purpose (PREP) paraeducator supports the PREP classroom by assisting in the implementation of structured instructional, behavioral, social and communication supports that help students access the general education core curriculum. Provide direct support to students on the autism spectrum or with similar needs who benefit from predictable routines, reinforced communication systems, executive functioning supports and academic scaffolds. Perform duties under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, assist with personal care needs as required while maintaining confidentiality of student, staff and department information.
