Position: Per Diem Pediatric Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Nights or Weekends)
Location: Lakewood, New Jersey

Our client is a beloved pediatric office that has been proudly serving the Lakewood community for over 20 years, providing high-quality, compassionate care to local families. They are currently looking for a skilled and caring Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team on a per diem basis. Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric PA or NP to provide quality, comprehensive care to pediatric patients during evening and weekend hours. The provider will work both independently and collaboratively with the team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring continuity of care and a positive experience for families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients during night and weekend shifts

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries

• Prescribe medications and other necessary treatments

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention

• Communicate effectively with other providers and staff to ensure seamless continuity of care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Adhere to all practice policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Current PA or NP license

• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

• Availability to work evenings and/or weekends on a per diem basis
