Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Panel beater to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle panels to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing and identifying the extent of vehicle damage
• Repairing and replacing damaged panels using appropriate tools and techniques
• Filling and sanding body panels to ensure a smooth finish
• Removing dents and scratches from panels
• Welding and shaping metal panels as needed
• Preparing and applying paint to repaired panels
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets industry safety standards
• Communicating with customers to provide updates on repair progress and answer any questions
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following all company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade qualification in Panelbeating or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
