The Opportunity
Duties include wiring, layout and installation of control hardware such as PLC's, DCS systems, contactor relays, protection relays etc. in a wide variety of control panel applications. Qualification and skills include a minimum of 1 year experience, be mechanically inclined, be able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings as well as having strong problem solving skills. Must be able to work independently or as a team. Must be able to work overtime when needed.
Prior experience wiring control panels is a preferred, but we will also offer training.
The Role
The Candidate
Education: High School Diploma or DEP preferred.
Work Experience: 6-12 months in a similar role or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Knowledge: previous experience in mechanics or equipment assembly an asset.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Welding knowledge an asset
