Job Description

The Palletizer is responsible for stacking, organizing, and securing finished products onto pallets for storage and shipment. This role ensures products are handled safely, palletized according to company standards, and prepared for transportation while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stack products onto pallets according to established procedures and customer specifications (Automated Stacking).
  • Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns before palletizing.
  • Wrap, band, or secure pallets to ensure product stability during transport.
  • Label pallets and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Move pallets to designated storage or shipping areas using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain production pace to meet daily output goals.
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse or production tasks as assigned.
  • Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, or product discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and production environments.
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment when authorized.
