Job Description

This position is responsible for loading sealed boxes of finished goods onto empty pallets, identify the product, quantity and completion time on the pallet and then wrap pallets and relocate pallets to staging area for the duration of 8 hours or more depending on volume and according to customer specification.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Records number of units handled using production pallet tag
• Attaches production pallet tag for inventory purpose.
• Wraps boxes with plastic film.
• Using safety lifting techniques loads sealed boxes onto pallet according to proper specifications.
• Relocates loaded pallets to staging area using pallet jack.
• Handling product that may have a temperature of 32-36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Perform other duties (such as basic housekeeping) as assigned.

PHYSICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more)
• Perform repetitive motions throughout shift such as push/pull/lift, bend continuously throughout the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift.
• Work environment can be loud, wet and cold (approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Flexibility to work 6 consecutive days, overtime and weekends if necessary
