Job Description

Job Title: Palletizer

The Palletizer is responsible for building and packaging pallets of product according to production and shipping requirements. This role ensures product is stacked securely, protected properly, and prepared for safe transport. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, preventing damage, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all plant safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
  • Build pallets according to product specifications, customer requirements, and standard work instructions using pneumatic staple/nail guns.
  • Safely stack and position doors to ensure stability, correct orientation, and proper weight distribution.
  • Apply packaging materials such as foam, corner protectors, straps, shrink wrap, or banding to protect doors during handling and shipment.
  • Label pallets accurately with product information, quantities, and shipping identifiers.
  • Inspect doors for defects or damage prior to packaging and report issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Coordinate with production, material handlers, and shipping teams to meet daily palletizing and shipping schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with using hand tools preferred.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Basic computer or scanning system proficiency for inventory tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role is a physically demanding role. Can be exposed to bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and working at a fast pace.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and temperature
